When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Cost Estimate: $$1500 - $3500
From your brief description it is not possible to make a definite diagnosis and plan. The first question is "can the tooth be saved"? Can the exisiting root have root canal therapy and then be restored with a post-build-up and crown? If the answer is "Yes" the cost would be approx. $2000.If the exisiting tooth needs to be removed, then you have several options for replacement: 1) Implant and crown ($3500) 2) Fixed bridge ($2500-3000) 3) Removable partial denture ($1500)These fees will vary depending on the quality of the dental office. Good luck!

Cost Estimate: $4000-4,500
You will need a surgical extraction, about $256, possible bone grafting to repair the socket-cost to be determined, an implant can range from $1300-$2,000 for the implant and the abutment or chimney and crown can range from $1500-$2,500 depending on the material needed-ie: zirconia vs. metal and the need for custom staining, "pink porcelain" and the quality of the lab used. So extraction, implant and crown will be roughly $4,000. This may not include cost of x-rays, temporary prostheses and grafting. So all in all-you need an exam and x-rays to get the full answer. You can call my office for a comprehensive exam and x-ray appointment and the cost will be discounted from $250 to $150 if you mentioned you contacted me via the internet.
